Compassionate Counseling to Help Your Through Life's Challenges
Carole J. Carter, M.S., LCPC, LMFT, NCC
First I’d like to tell you a bit more about myself. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 30 years’ experience working with very diverse populations. In addition, recent chaplaincy and lay ministry training and experiences have enabled me to incorporate grief/bereavement counseling for those who are struggling to recover from losses including the death of a loved one, divorce or separation, loss of physical or financial independence, or loss of job or home. I love working with adolescents and adults of all ages, stages, races, cultural backgrounds, spiritual and religious persuasions and sexual orientations. My practice focuses on individuals, couples, and groups.
The most important gift I offer you is my commitment to being totally with you through this journey we call counseling. Using a variety of approaches, I will listen to you with my ears, eyes, and entire being as you share your story and concerns. As I come to understand your struggles and goals, we can partner in the process of working through and resolving those issues. This process may take only a few sessions or several months of commitment and hard work. Yes, I will ask you to give yourself between-session assignments and perhaps risk sharing in honest, new and sometimes frightening ways. Your willingness to commit your mind, body, and spirit to the process can result in much growth, strength, and healing.
I would love to have the privilege of offering you an open door to renewed hope!
